I do have a tiny wrist though, around 6.2"-6.4" and I am considering the PAM 48 but I am not sure how I can accommodate it. Originally, the first version of PAM 590, Panerai Luminor Marina 8 Days PAM 590, was launched in North America in 2014. It immediately hit home with fans. Last week I shared the first wrist shot of my new Panerai Luminor Due and I wanted to follow up a week later with one that’s a little more “professional” and my initial thoughts after a week of ownership.The Panerai 590 Luminor Marina 8 Days PAM 590 watch has an overall case diameter of 44mm and is made from polished stainless steel. On the dial, it shows the inscription “8 GIORNI BREVETTATO” at three o clock. On the inside, is the manual-wound Panerai in-house caliber P.5000 movement. In an unexpected turn at SIHH earlier this year, Panerai announced a new 42mm Submersible, offering the same lovable and chunky shape but with less bulk on wrist. Its full name is the Luminor Submersible 1950 3 Days Automatic Acciaio .
This 44mm Panerai watch is inscribed with the words "8 Giorni Brevettato" at the three o'clock position on the dial, its translation meaning "8 Day Patent", this watch holds an 8-day power reserve totaling one hundred and ninety-two hours of uninterrupted power.
