But the most important thing is buy what you truly like. I've always liked the Datejust and it was my first entry to Rolex back in 1989 when I bought a new 16233. Still have it and wear it today. Have to admit though, I wear my Sub (16610) and GMT (16710) far more often but I no longer wear suits and live in a rural part of Idaho now.

So far it looks pretty simple but what I wanted to know is your feedback on the various different references out there (e.g. 160xx series are better than the 162xx serie). I’ll share everything you want to know about the specs, wearability, and quality of this Rolex classic, along with how it may have very well changed by wearing habits and watch tastes forever.
