I honestly think that the Invicta Pro Diver is a better purchase than the Rolex Submariner. So I've owned an Invicta Pro Diver (two-tone blue/gold) for almost a year, and it is honestly one of the best watches I own.
While the Rolex movement is light-years ahead of the movements used by Invicta, the movements used by Invicta are not bad either if you look at their performances. They are quite accurate, reliable and durable; staying within + 40 seconds a week, which is close to Rolex. Despite being one of the most affordable watch manufacturers, Invicta’s best-selling Invicta Pro Diver bears a striking resemblance to the popular Rolex Submariner. However, while these watches may look similar, the intrinsic design differences account for the vast difference in their price tags. I have to explain that it’s not actually a Rolex because people like it so much that they go in for a closer look. When they realize that it’s an Invicta, I go from someone who was wearing a nice looking watch to someone who was pretending to wear a Rolex. Both cases are branded "Invicta" on the 9 o'clock side. It is the new shallow engraving that I know from experience can be filed off and brushed without too much trouble. 8926 case back reads: "INVICTA | Water Resistant 200m | 8926OB | All Stainless Steel"
